On April 22nd, The Mustang Stampede competed in the Special Olympic Track and Field meet in Thrall.  Congratulations to all of our athletes for doing an outstanding job.

  • Armando Romero - bronze medal in the 100 M dash and silver medal in the softball throw
  • Josh Pena - silver medal in the 100M dash, and gold medal in the softball throw
  • Alex Salinas - bronze medal in the 100m dash, gold medal in both the relay and the standing long jump.
  • Xavier Brown - gold medal in the 100M dash, silver medal in the relay, and bronze medal in the running long jump. 
  • Nathan Flores -silver medal in the relay 4th place ribbons in both the 100M dash and the standing long jump
  • Angelica Reyna - bronze medal in the running long jump and gold medals in the relay and in the 100M dash. 
  • McKenzie O’neal - silver medal in the running long jump and gold medals in both the relay and in the 100M dash
  • Samantha Valerio - gold medals in the relay, running long jump and in the 100M dash 
  • Nicole Brown - bronze medal in the standing long jump, silver medal in the 100M dash, and a 2nd place ribbon in the relay. 
  • Cason Pyatt - silver medal in both the standing long jump and relay, and bronze medal in the 100M dash.

We are very proud of these athletes and all the hard work they have put into getting ready for all our competitions. The next meet for the Mustang Stampede will be next Saturday, May 6th in Leander for the Area meet.
