Meal Delivery

**Important Update: On May 15th meal delivery and pick up service will end. We need some time to deep clean our cafeteria and perform maintenance. However, on June 1st, our normal summer service will begin with meals available for pick up at the Nixon Cafeteria. If your family is struggling to feed your children during the gap, please contact a campus principal. We will work with our Communities in Schools program to see how they can assist you.

NSCISD parents, beginning on Monday, March 23rd, Nixon-Smiley CISD will be providing and delivering a bundled breakfast and lunch to children under the age of 18, Monday - Friday. The district will distribute these meals using busses and school vehicles to the stops on our normal bus routes. Drivers will leave the cafeteria at 10:00 am. Please plan to pick up your children's meals at their regular designated bus stop. Click here for the map that shows the stops where busses will deliver the meals. At the bus stop, parents may now pick up the meals by simply providing children's names and signing the meal consent form. Children do not need to be present. You can fill out the consent form by clicking here (Meal Consent Form). We will also have paper copies available to sign as we deliver meals.

If your child is a walker/car rider or not otherwise in our system and you would like to be able to pick up meals at the nearest bus stop to your home, check out the  map or please text or call (512) 677 - 9425. We will respond with the location of the nearest bus stop and ask how many children we will be serving.

Grab and go breakfast and lunch is still available at the NIXON CAFETERIA ONLY from 7:30 - 9:00 and 11:30 - 1:00. If you choose that option, students must be present.
