Nixon-Smiley CISD will be hosting a FREE COVID vaccine clinic Thursday, September 9th, for students 12 years and up, staff, parents and community. Appointments are strongly recommended. ATTENTION FAMILIES OF STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT REGISTERED: Registration will be at La Casita (Nixon ) on August 11th, from 8 am - 3 pm, for any students who still need to register. Any incoming 7th through 12th grade student who plans on participating in any UIL extracurricular activities for the 2021 - 2022 school year and who does Not have a current sports physical please read the following message. Nixon - Smiley will have a bus available to transport students to Seguin Family Health Center on Tuesday, July 27th at 4pm. However, you must reserve a seat by contacting the high school office (830-582-1536 ext.201) or the athletic office (830-582-1536 ext. 111) no later than 1pm Friday, July 23rd.

Band Concerts on May 20th - Beginners & Middle School band will perform at 6:00 pm in the High School Gym. Their report time is 5:45. High School Band will perform at 7:10 pm, also in the High School Gym. Their report time is 7:00.

Mustang baseball’s game that was postponed on Friday has been rescheduled. We will be playing Stockdale in Marion at 10 am on Monday morning (May 3rd). This will be varsity only. Ticket information will be posted as soon as we get the link.

Families of NSH Seniors: Wilson County News will be publishing the 2021 Tomorrow's Leaders graduation section in early June. The paper wants to give you, the Senior parents, information about placing a personal ad in this section for your son/daughter. These ads give the section a personal touch and are a way for you to recognize the child's achievements. Pricing ranges from $44.52, $89.04, $179.14, $359.34. There will be TSI tutoring available for the month of June in the Nixon-Smiley High School Library for High School Students. June 30 at 8:30 am we will administer the TSI test for any students who still need to take it. This test can be used to meet eligibility requirements for High School honors courses.
